Thank goodness for my Aunt Gerry. She is one of our
familys great bakers (a category I do not fit into).
When visiting Aunt Gerry, you could always be sure she
would have home baked cakes and cookies, all of which
she would ration out two at a time.
Many times we would
find Aunt Gerry in the pantry after dinner enjoy her
secret stash of sweets cookie crumbs tripping
down the front of her apron. It was worth the uneven
distribution, even if she did get four cookies to our
two.
